On Monday, November 10, Cartwright Elementary proudly celebrated Veterans Day, a special time to honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
The ceremony began with 5th-grade student Clara Ozella delivering a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Students participated in a moving White Table ceremony, symbolizing remembrance and respect for those who sacrificed for our freedom. The entire student body joined together in song, and veterans in attendance were presented with American flags as tokens of appreciation.
Several students shared heartfelt poems and letters dedicated to our veterans, expressing gratitude for their courage and service. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy light refreshments prepared by the school.
It was a memorable day of reflection, pride, and gratitude as the Cartwright Colts came together to honor America’s heroes. 🇺🇸💙
